Glance
o

With blue the light opens its eyes

A pupil is not there just yet

the eyeball is still turned inward

I see only white for now.
o

Orange gives the eye a shape,

the soft ball is solidified

the look still to the inside.
o

It is the yellow light that through a

tumbling

carries the orange to the green

so opening the door

of the inward glance

to the outside

meeting matter there.
o

Green gives the boll a radiant field.

The look now is roaming around on the outside

going from here to there, to everywhere

and attaching like a vagabond.
o

Red makes the eye perfect

the pupil is visible now:

a hole through which the look

goes outward and through which

matter streams in.
o

The glance attaches itself

looks at something

and for one moment puts an end

to the spinning of events.
