Signalo


Less then a sign a signal is

a dot, a single pixel,

cause of my automatic response.

A borderline case,

its meaning minimal.

Yet it is there:

like a dot is,

but really is not.
o

The yellow light is the station for the blue.

The green light stops on red,

the body is the terminal.
o

I instantly respond to the sign.

my body makes a turn:

forward, stop, aside.

It shrinks and grows in watchfulness.
o

My eyes are the last post,

my gaze darts away

or stays nearby,

depending on the sign.
